| 1932 Ford Flathead Radiators
Restoring your '32 Flathead and need a more authentic looking radiator. Look no further. Our Flathead radiators replicate the Ford design with correct angle and size of inlet. With die stamped top tanks that mimic Ford's and new elongated flat tubes we have created greater tube wall surface area than Ford's original core. More surface area means more heat exchange and better cooling. If you want period correct fin density choose 8 fins per inch but most have bumped fin density to 10 fins per inch design for a 20% increase in the copper fin surface area. More copper surface area means better cooling for the notoriously hot early V8 flathead engines.
1932 Ford Model B Radiators
Ford Model B radiators had a center inlet and angled header. For the most accurate reproduction radiator on the market request the angled header. This radiator can be made in the original fin density or it may be increased to 10 fins per inch for 20% more surface area.

1932 Ford Street Rod Radiators
If you are building 1932 street rod then a more economical radiator can be made using the "half moon" drawn brass top tank. We frequently chop radiators, accomodate filled-in shells, angled inlets, non pressures systems, install ac condensor units, build custom fan shrouds and construct in polished brass or German Silver. Contact us with the details of your build and we will price out a radiator that suits your particular needs.
More about Ford's 1932 Cooling System
Most attribute the cooling issues of a 1932 Ford to the routing of the exhause ports through the water passages in the block. Cylinder head mounted water pumps did not help but changes to a block mounted pump from 1937-1953 offered some relief.
All original 1932 Ford radiators retain the same core depth and unique header design but each manufacturer e.g. Ford, Long and McCord can be identified by the tube layout and count. McCord alone produced the service only heavy duty truck radiator for 1932s.
