The Heat Sponge
In 2002 The Brassworks launched the heat sponge. A flared cartridge core design commonly used in early brass era cars and vintage race cars. The design is ideal for tapered radiators like Whippets and Overland, Alfa Romeos, early Rolls Royce and water cooled airplanes. Street Rodders quickly adopted the radiator and used it with modern engines.
Core design may be shaped in ovals, circles, donuts, squares, diamonds. With tube face patterns in squares, circles and hexs the builder is only limited by his imagination.
We have also expanded heat sponge production to include oil coolers and custom heater cores. Contact us should you need this unique design for your unique space.
