1940-1941 Ford Radiator Price $799.00 Prev Next Product Description Features of the 1940-1941 Ford Radiator include: Modern efficient copper core design with 10 fins per inch Cores are available in 2-5/8" 3 row core or 3-1/2" 4 row core 3/4" seamless weld tubes in a staggered array to disrupt airflow laterally Smooth die stamped .040 brass drawn top tanks (restorations are shown in our online listing) Galvanized steel sidewalls to resist rust Cowl rod bracket has appropriate fittings for locating and holding the shell Internal baffle in top tank to prevent cooling loss Painted flat black to aid in heat exchange 1940 with a split core* to permit crank passage (available upon request) 1941 with center hole in core for crank passage (available upon request) *Creating a split core radiator is actually two cores with shared headers and a carefully formed metal insert which protects cores the fin edges and guides the crank. Notes: In this period Ford manufactured radiators at Dearborn (D), and also at Green Island G) and had three additional suppliers, Modine (MO), McCord (MC), and Long (L). Ford furnished those outside suppliers with top and bottom tanks (stamped with the appropriate code letter) to be fitted with cores. 1940 and early (~January 1941) had a the top fill on the angled portion of the tank. Later in 1941 they had a center filler cap. Please order accordingly. About the ordering process: We do not stock radiators. Every radiator is made to order and they require time to construct.
