The list of statement was made on a forum post and we have yet to confirm all are accurate.

  • A Master could be purchased with leaf front springs but it was as rare in 1936 to see one.
  • The Master Deluxe FA Passenger has knee action front end, the Master Deluxe FD Passenger  and standard had beam axle on elliptical front leafs springs
  • The Standard had two dials on the dash, the Master three.
  • The Standard has 5 lug wheels the Master 6 lug wheel.
  • While they both have the same engine the Standard has a lighter non-syncrous transmission and a lighter differential.
  • The Standard with four door does not have a opening vent window in the rear quarter, the Master does.
  • The Standard had a box section frame (like later 1937-1954s) and the Master has an open channel frame with Y K bracing in the center.
  • The Standard had a shorter 109" wheel base and was a lighter car in general.  The Master has a 113" Wheel base.
  • The Standard bumpers curved around on the ends like a 1931-1934 and 1935 Std.
  • The curb weight of the Standard tested was 2,925 pounds and the Master was 3241 pounds.
