Contact us for further details on a fabrication or restoration of a 1955, 1956 or 1957 Chevrolet Radiator in the 6 of 8 cylinder positioning.

The 6 cylinder is a longer engine and the radiator is positioned on the bumper side of the core support with the hose passing over the top on the driver's side.  The 8 cylinder is a shorter block and the radiator is positioned on the engine side of the core support with the top connection coming out of the center of the radiator.

Keeping the V Cell film core: Aging engines tend to run hotter.  One contributing factor is decreased flow through a clogged and dirty cell style core.  Harrison Ribbon Cellular core are comprised of narrow passages that can clog with rust, sediment or get coated over time with hard scale or oil from the engine.

This type of replacement falls into the restoration side of our business.  If you wish to replace your early Chevy Harrison cellular core radiator with a new cellular core, then please contact us for a quote.
