1928-1929 Ford Past-and-Future Edition
28-29FT Janus 6RT 11FT
We designed this for a customer who wanted an original looking round tube core in the front with the original fin density and a more efficient cooling flat tube higher fin density core in the rear. We achieved this by hand shearing the fins and joining the two in a common header.
It is still a drop in replacement for the 1928-1929 Ford car or car based pick-up truck and set-up for the OE engine in its production year Other features include a deep drawn tank with an OE stamp pattern, electric wire tabs, galvanized steel sidewalls, and riveted brackets for a longer life.
Features of the 1928 and 1929 Model A and Model AA radiators include:
- round tubes 6FPI core in front
- flat tube 11 fpi in the rear
- Die stamped three piece brass top tanks with model correct die stampings
- Galvanized steel sidewalls to resist rust
- Sidewalls available with relief like OE (upon request)
- Cowl rod bracket for support rods to firewall
- Internal baffle in top tank to prevent coolant loss
- Correct angle on lower outlet to clear power house generators
- Electric wire tabs soldered to lower tank
- Hood mount tabs soldered to top tank
- Painted flat black to aid in heat exchange
