We are pricing these based on build times of our one-off speedsters.  When we reduce production times with our newly designed cnc power roller we will adjust the prices

Features include:

  • Tank dimensions: length 27-3/4" tank diameter 10-3/4"
  • Fuel capacity is ~10 gallons
  • 20GA galvanized steel
  • Beaded for strength (not shown in image 
  • Center of the riveted filler neck is 5-7/8" from the end 
  • 1/2" NPT threaded outlet 
  • Internal baffles
  • Tanks are joined with double hem seam
  • Tanks may be painted BUT NOT POWDERCOATED*

* Galvanized finish is removed at solder joints and after testing in the test tank may exhibit surface rust, remove before painting.  Powder coating temperatures frequently exceed solder melting points and may compromise tank integrity.

Fun fact:  The tanks are gravity fed.  If the fuel tank is under the seat, a minimum amount of fuel needed is 3 gallons. If the fuel tank is under the rear deck of a coupe the minimum is 4 gallons. If the fuel tank is under the seat of a sedan the minimum is 4 gallons. Later Model T’s with the gas tank mounted in the cowl are OK to drive with as little as 2 gallons.
