1941 Ford 1-GA 6 cylinder Car Radiator Reproduction
1941 1GA Ford 6 cyl car
Ford produced the 1-GA 6 cylinder radiator from October 1940 until February 10, 1942 and produced 160,000 before they ceased civilian production. 2-GAs were introduced in this period but we have limited information on these. March 1942 to summer of 1945 staff cars may be title 1942, 1943, 1944 or 1945. The 5-GA which followed in 1945 is quite similar so please call if you are not certain which radiator you have.
Henry Ford famously said in 1929, "I have no use for an engine with more cylinders than a cow has teats" yet he launched the V8 in 1932 and the 6 Cylinder in Fords from 1941 to 1947 Flathead 226 GA Series (Cars) and the G Series (Trucks).
