The first 2,500 Model T Radiators produced in 1909 utilize a water pump which was abandoned around March. They also have castings unique to 1909. Some may not even have the Ford Logo in the tank. Though they have many common dimensions we have seen a wider core and support brackets rather than the integrated support bar in the core found later. They generally have the shorter neck without rivets.
Please measure and provide frame dimensions and mounting hole center to center if you own this early Ford car as we do not want to presume the dimension.
It is not uncommon to find later model radiator to appear on earlier cars or variation on the design. We produce to a standard but most of the changes are simple modifications so if your radiator does not match the description or you need anything special, just email us in the comments or call us directly.
In December of 1910 Ford Model Ts used a priming rods routed between the fins of the radiator. In January of 1911, Ford drilled a choke rod hole in the lower part of the front trim. The Brassworks does not drill this hole in 1909-1910 radiators.
Price includes 10% royalty fee paid to Ford for the gracious use of their logo. No charge when omitted.
