There are two Packard dual stream underseat heater cores in this period.  This one has a two heater cores, the other has a single heater core

We have seen the Packard underseat Dual Stream heater core in the 1955 and 1956 most frequenlty but believe it may have been available as early as 1940.  This core design is a better heat exchanger than the cellular film core but we can make the heater core larger for more heating if required.
