In a restoration we use all re-useable parts from your original radiator (from whichever of the four factories Ford sourced from) and our new core. They take 10-13 hours on average + core construction time.
- round tube core with faux seam tubes
- Seamed on tubes are positioned randomly to mimic OE placement
- 6 copper fin per inch
- hand sheared fins with the scallop to correspond to the sidewall relief
- original top and bottom tank
- flat rivets in the OE stay rod bracket for the production year
- return lock fold header
- electric wire tabs soldered to lower tank
- hood hinge holder
- test fit to shell when provided (or we use our OE shells)
