1936 Chevy Master Radiator

C36 Master Street Rod

Regular price $1,000.00

A 1936 Chevy Master Radiator had a 2-1/8" Harrison V Cell film core with a water passage of 1-5/8" with 1/4" lead dip on the face and rear and we replace this with a 1-13/16 10FPI tube and fin core.

The original Harrison v cell core was a ribbon cellular core comprised of narrow passages that can clog with rust, sediment or get coated over time with hard scale or oil from the engine.

Images reflect past builds and illustrate various elements of design.  The radiator you order will be constructed based on the information you provide for your bespoke build.

Is my 1936 Chevy a Master Deluxe or a Standard ?

Keeping the V Cell film core: Aging engines tend to run hotter.  One contributing factor is decreased flow through a clogged and dirty cell style core.  Harrison Ribbon Cellular core are comprised of narrow passages that can clog with rust, sediment or get coated over time with hard scale or oil from the engine.

This type of replacement falls into the restoration side of our business.  If you wish to replace your early Chevy Harrison cellular core radiator with a new cellular core, then please contact us for a quote.
